Stella Maris - Symbolism - Gnostic Alchemy

The Cosmic Mother is the astral signature of the sacred sperm. She is the shiny star that emerges from the bottom of the sea, from the metallic Chaos of the sperm. She is Stella Maris, the igneous part of Mercury. She guides and directs us in the Great Work. She is the one who helps us in the whole work of the Great Work.

Stella Maris is the Virgin of the Sea, of the interior spermatic sea that one carries within. It is from this sea that this generous star emerges, which is the igneous part of the sperm.

Stella Maris is the symbolic star that guides every magician. She is the one who directs the Great Work. She is the astral signature of the sacred sperm. She is the Divine Mother Kundalini Shakti.

The Metaphysical View of Death and Life After Death

From:www.worldtocome.org
At times the soul undergoing transition is led across rivers with the aid of an escort. In Greek myths, Charon, the boatman, was assigned the task of guiding souls to the Other side. Hermes, acting as psychopompos, led deserving souls to Olympus. ... In other religions, the escort of the soul is the Angel of Death,
Muslims call this Angel of Death, "Izrail."
There is a possibility that escorts of the soul do not always fetch departing souls from the Other side. They may, in fact, also come from our physical dimension aiding souls in their transition. What we are intimating is that the mastery of astral projection or lucid dreaming actually gives the mystic or psychic the power to act as psychopompos, or guide of the soul.

The Hebrew Letter Hei

Hebrew Letter Hei

Which in Kabbalah symbolizes the uterus, the primordial matrix or matrass ה “Hei”
ה “Hei” encloses the three Divine manifestations of God : Father (the seed, Prana), Mother (the land, Akasa) and Son (the Universe).
The human soul or consciousness has to create (within uterus ה) three vehicles of expression (bodies or garments); these are the Astral Body, the Mental Body and the Body of Willpower.

The three lines which compose the form of the letter “Hei” correspond to these three bodies that we need to create:
the upper horizontal line symbolizes the body of the will of God;
the right vertical line is the Human Mind directed by the will of God;
the unattached line is related to emotional actions based on the connection or disconnections of our human heart to our divine thoughts and divine will.

Symbol of the Pentagram

pentagram
Gnostic Teachings:
..the flaming pentagram, the blazing star, the sign of divine omnipotence. This is the ineffable symbol of the Word made flesh, the terrifying star of the Magi.
When the pentagram elevates its two inferior rays towards the sky it represents Satan.
When the pentagram becomes light, it elevates only one of its rays towards the sky; this represents the internal Christ of every human being who comes into this world.

The human being with his legs and arms spread out to the right and left is the star of five points. Brain and sex live in an eternal struggle. Brain must control sex. When sex overcomes the brain, then the star of five points (the human being) falls into the abyss with the feet pointing upwards and the head pointing downwards; this is the inverted star, the male goat of Mendes. A human figure with the head aiming downwards and the feet aiming upwards naturally represents a demon.
The entire science of Gnosis is found summarized within the flaming star. Many Bodhisattvas (human souls of Masters) have fallen inverted, like the five pointed star, with the superior ray aiming downwards and the two inferior rays aiming upwards.
gnosticteachings.org

From Wikipedia:
Sumerian: Sumerian hieroglyphs/pictograms it is shown with two points up.
Babylonian
In the Babylonian context, the edges of the pentagram were probably orientations: forward, backward, left, right, and "above".These directions also had an astrological meaning, representing the five planets Jupiter, Mercury, Mars and Saturn, and Venus as the "Queen of Heaven" (Ishtar) above.

Pythagorus
The Pythagoreans called the pentagram ὑγιεία Hugieia ("health"; also the Greek goddess of health, Hygieia), and saw in the pentagram a mathematical perfection (see Geometry section below).

The ancient Pythagorean pentagram, with two legs up, represented the Pentemychos (πεντέμυχος "of five sanctuaries"), a cosmogony written by Pythagoras' teacher and friend Pherecydes of Syros. It was the "island" or "cave"where the first pre-cosmic-offspring had to be put in order for the cosmos to appear: "the divine products of Chronos' seed [σπέρμα spérma], when disposed in five recesses, were called Πεντέμυχος (Pentemuxos)".

from guardiansofdarkness.com
The true Pythagorean pentacle was (and is) two points up and was considered a Pentagrammon - a house in the center, a pentagon (pentagonas) representing the Self, and the five points or blazing angles (pentalpha) represented the Pentemychos - inside the angles, and outside of them - every single line has meaning in this Master Glyph
So, the pentagram was also a symbol of the Ammon, which is Pan.

Symbol Dove, Pleiades

the Pleiades, meaning the doves....

Dove - Peace

Symbols Snake, Eagle, Bird & Cat

... interventions can be found in all ancient mythologies, that speak of how the 'Gods' keep on meddling in human affairs, and keep on having fights among each other over these interventions... Quite often these mythological stories mention snake people, which usually is a reference to the Sirians, whereas bird, eagle or cat people usually refer to the Lyrans and Pleiadians.
(Sometimes, however, the 'snake people' are a reference to a third group of aliens, the Draconian group, or 'Lizzies.' Even though there are indications that these aliens, too, have been around on this planet for tens of thousands of years, they have only recently started playing an active part in its history, again!).

bibliotecapleyades

At a given moment in time, members of this Sirian Group started needing ‘workers' to assist them in colonizing the planet. Through genetic manipulation they created mankind, by blending their own DNA with the DNA of earth primates and the predecessors of man (Neanderthal).

From that moment on, Earth becomes the scene of constant disputes between, mainly, two groups of alien civilizations.
  • On the one hand, there are the Sirians, joined by some Vega\Vegans, some (renegade) Pleiadians and some Orion civilizations
  • On the other hand there are the Pleiadians and the Lyrans, also joined by some Orion civilizations
The fights nearly always were over mankind, and on several occasions they interfered in our history.

Life has initiated its return towards the Great Light and in these moments we have to define ourselves by becoming eagles or reptiles, Angels or demons.

The Myth that the Earth Rotates Alcyone of the Pleiades

Do we rotate around Pleiades's Central sun?
Upon research, we do not orbit around Alcyone..Interesting the ideas put forth!
A great analysis and lots of good information on this is
bibliotecapleyades

Up until the mid twentieth century it had long been believed that our system orbited the Pleiades - the mormons for example believed that Alcyone was the 'throne of God the Father' to name just one group.

Dec 1, 2012 and Mayan Prophecy of February 19, 2013

". . .the Mayan calendar was prophesying: the end of a grand cycle and the beginning of a new cycle and a new world - a world where the entire heavens would be opened up to humanity, and we would be free to explore our natural environment of space, time, and dimension beyond the Earth. The prophecy had predicted a time of a wonderful peace and spiritual growth. The beginning of this new cycle was predicted by the Guatemala Maya to be February 19, 2013. Why not December 21, 2012, as predicted by the moment of the change of the POE into Aquarius? Sorry, I can't tell you. This question you will have to ask the Guatemala Maya themselves, as they are the only ones who really understand why this two-month discrepancy exists."
- Written by Drunvalo Melchizedek - The Serpent of Light: Chapter 3

I enter this here, as it frames in our minds that something will happen on this day.  It may be truth

Alternate Christmas Story - Nimrod and Semiramis

Nimrod was murdered and his body cut and spread across the land....
"Semiramis, who was wife as well as mother to Nimrod, for, she had married her son, took command of the religion and proclaimed Nimrod a god. She collected all of Nimrod's body parts except for his penis, which she could not find, and created the symbol of the obelisk and established phallus worship. This mother-wife also claimed that an evergreen tree sprang forth from a dead tree stump, which symbolised springing forth into new life of the dead Nimrod. Semiramis further claimed that every year on the anniversary of Nimrod's birth, said to be on December 25th, he would visit the evergreen tree and leave gifts upon it. This tradition is the real origin of the Christmas tree. Semiramis was an adroit schemer who manuvered herself into prominence in the religion founded by Nimrod. Through her scheming she became the Babylonian "Queen of Heaven" whilst Nimrod, under various names, became the "divine son of heaven." Nimrod was later refashioned as a messiah figure, son of Baal the Sun-god, thereby creating the archetypal motifs: the World Redeemer and the "Mother and Child.""

found on godlikeproductions forum
originally from overlordsofchaos...
Where this is also written:
"Thus, Semiramis and Nimrod reborn became chief objects of worship within the cults of the ancient world. The worship of the "mother and child" spread throughout the ancient world appearing in different cultures in different names. In Egypt, the pair was called Isis and Horus, in Asia Minor, they were Cybele and Attis, in Rome, they were Fortuna and Jupiterpuer. The figure of Nimrod as the dying and resurrecting man-god is at the heart of the Ancient Mysteries but under different names. In Egypt, he was Osiris, in Greece Dionysus, in Asia Minor, Attis, in Syria, Adonis, in Persia, Mithras, in Rome, Bacchus. It is also the motif of the Messiah Tradition in Judaism and Christianity. Hence, throughout the ancient world the idea of the World Saviour, the incarnation of a god into the body of a man, was a perennial theme. The "mother and child" motif also appears in other religious systems throughout the world. In the seventeenth century, for instance, Jesuit missionaries to Tibet, China, and Japan were astonished to find the counterpart of Madonna and her Child was devoutly worshipped in the lands as in papal Rome itself. "

I see there are comments on this article. At this time I do not have more information as to the author of this article.  As well, I will do research into other stories of Nimrod and Semiramis.  IN many of the old stories, there are conflicting versions.  Thank you for your inquiries and comments.

Inerpretation of Genesis 3:21

Genesis 3:21
21 Also for Adam and his wife the LORD God made tunics of
           skin and clothed them.
I think of  Adam and Eve being purely energy bodies and that the clothing was of the human skin we all wear today?

Later I read that this clothing was passed down through Noah and down to Nimrod who became a mighty hunter because of this clothing...which suggests otherwise...still the ideas bodies being used as vessels for energy beings, an the formation of bodies by God intrigues me

Symbols - Spade - Human

I read somewhere that the spade represents a human...
Here is an article from EHow

What Does the Spade Symbolize?

death
good luck

Through trials of strength and times of fear, the spade represents each tribulation.
.

    History

  1.  darkness and power,
  2. the cosmic tree, or the tree of life,
  3. fall, winter and the power of darkness.
  4. In biblical instances, the spade symbolizes Adam's punishment from God to toil in the earth until the end of his days.
  5. During the 1400s and 1500s, taxes were placed on card decks. Throughout England, only government printers produced the ace of spades and card printers could only purchase the ace of spades from the government. This helped enforce a tax placed on decks of cards
  6. Card Games

  7. Printed on French playing cards made in Rouen and Lyon, both famous cities in France, the spade first appeared on playing cards in 1480. The spade may have represented Italian swords, but eventually came to replace the symbol of the sword that was originally used in decks of cards. Typically thought of as the most dominant suit, the spade symbolism varies by card games. Obviously, any spade is a trump card in the game called Spades.
  8. Tarot Card Symbolism

  9. Although typically thought of as a bad omen, the spade symbolizes many different things. Although death is one of the interpretations of the spade, it is not as literal as most people fear. Instead of symbolizing the death of an individual, the spade symbolizes the death of something old and the birth of a new opportunity, or the ending of one period and the beginning of the next. In addition to this translation though, the spade also symbolizes understanding and action.
  10. In the War

  11. The spade soon found its place alongside many American soldiers throughout World War II. Believed to be the most powerful card in a deck, some American soldiers painted the Ace of Spades on helmets and aircraft for good luck. During the Vietnam War, soldiers used the spade was used to scare Vietnamese soldiers. Meant to symbolize death, soldiers left the Ace of Spades cards on fallen enemy soldiers to frighten surviving Vietnamese troops.

Symbols: Owl & Venus

The 'Queen of the Night' Relief
Old Babylonian, 1800-1750 BC - From southern Iraq
"Most often, Venus as a planet is called Ninanna, the lady of heaven. But Inanna, Sumer's most popular goddess, who had many functions, was identified with the planet Venus, both as the war-like morning star and as the love goddess evening star." (Sumerian Questions and Answers)
Also representative of Lilith..

A color theme of red, white, black, and gold.
A red-skinned woman, holding a golden loop rod in each hand. Her wings are red, white, and black, and and her headdress is gold and black.
The owls have feathers of alternating red, white, and black; the lions  white and black.
A completely black Background , probably to connote darkness and nighttime.

Symbology - the Colors Red and Blue

From:  The History, Principles and Practice of Symbolism in Christian Art
"On another mummy case a man is depicted as suddenly falling dead to the ground, while above him stands another erect and with outstretched arms.
The mortal man is painted red;
the spiritual man, his risen soul, is blue, the colour of the sky."

From: matrixunderground on occult meaning
"The Red Queen has been found . . . It is Venus also called our “sister” Planet. There sky is red Our sky is blue."

007 and John Dee

"In the 1600's Queen Elisabeth charged Sir John Dee with the task of opening Pan- Dimensional Gates to gain knowledge of how to break the "skynet" and traverse the void. John Dee was then Ambassador to the Queen signing his signature 007"

Symbols for Heaven and Creator - Pyramid, Dots and Circles

from: Handbook of Treasure Signs and Symbols by Mary Carson

Symbology of the Apple

For this I have many different interpretations
from The book of symbols by J.E. Cirlot:
"Apple Being almost spherical in shape, the apple signifies totality. It is symbolic of earthly desires, or of indulgence in such desires. The warning not to eat the forbidden apple came, therefore, from the mouth of the supreme being, as a warning against the exaltation of materialistic desire (15). The intellect, the thirst for knowledge—as Nietzsche realized—is only an intermediate zone between earthly desire and pure spirituality. "

Golden Apples
Hera may derive from Hebat of Anatolia, who became Hebe in Greece and Eve among Semitic peoples.
In ancient Greek, Hebe means 'spring growth' and only later 'virgin,' and may once have meant 'life' as Eve does now.
The golden apples from Hera's orchards could grant immortality.  They were guarded by her sacred snake or dragon, which may have been a form of Hera herself.
The apples acted in two ways, either as as a replacement heart in the afterlife, or by revealing holy knowledge to insure rebirth, This knowledge begins with Rhea's sacred pentacle hidden within each apple.
Eventually it was said only mermaids could eat the apples, perhaps because they were the only ones who could reach them.

Symbols of the Annvil & Hammer

Anvil A symbol of the earth and of matter. It corresponds to the passive and
feminine principle, as opposed to the hammer, which denotes fecundation.

- From the book:  A dictionary of Symbols by J.E.Cirlot

Symbol of Acacia and Red and White

"Acacia This shrub, which bears white or pink blooms, was considered sacred  by the Egyptians, partly, no doubt, because of its dual coloration and also because of the great mystic importance of the white-red principle (8). In Hermetic doctrine, according to Gérard de Nerval in his Voyage en Orient (9), it symbolizes the testament of Hiram which teaches that ‘one must know how to die in order to live again in eternity’. It occurs with this particular symbolic meaning (that is, the soul and immortality) in Christian art, especially the Romanesque (20)."
 - From the book:  A dictionary of Symbols by J.E.Cirlot

Abracadabra

I recently read a story in which an alchemist was given a huge sum of money by the king of this story for the secret process to turn anything into gold. After teaching the king the entire process, he said the the most important thing was that he must not think the work "Abracadabra" at any time during the process

From the book:  A dictionary of Symbols by J.E.Cirlot
. . .This word was in frequent use during the Middle Ages as a magic formula. It is
derived from the Hebrew phrase abreq ad hâbra, meaning ‘hurl your thunderbolt
even unto death’. . . This magic word has also been related to the Abracax (Abraxas, Abrasax) of the
Gnostics. It is in reality one of the names of the sun-god, Mithras (4)."
